The Rebild Festival is a long-standing celebration of Danish-American friendship in the beautiful surroundings of Rebild Bakker. Every year, visitors from near and far gather for speeches, music and community under the open sky.
The story of the robbers of Rold goes all the way back to the 19th century. Back then, a large network of robbers terrorised the whole of Himmerland. They were notorious, dangerous and certainly not afraid to hurt people to get what they wanted.
Max Henius played an important role in the history of Rebild Bakker and the Rebild Festival. The bust commemorates his work to strengthen the ties between Danes in Denmark and Danes in the United States.
