Rold Skov’s hilly terrain makes the area ideal for mountain biking. The trails wind through different parts of the forest, alternating between fast sections, technical singletracks and longer climbs and descents.

Both beginners and experienced riders can find a suitable challenge here. In several places, you can choose between different difficulty levels, allowing you to tailor your ride to your experience and confidence.

Show consideration on the trails

Rold Skov is shared by many different visitors. When mountain biking, please be mindful of walkers, runners, horse riders and other cyclists.

Adjust your speed to the conditions, give plenty of warning when approaching others, and follow the signs along the routes. Stay on trails where mountain biking is permitted, and avoid riding on bridleways, ancient monuments and in areas where access is not allowed.

Remember to take your litter with you and help look after the forest, so it remains a great place for both people and nature.
