Event case: The Royal Danish Summer Ballet
The Royal Danish Summer Ballet in Rebild Bakker is created in close collaboration with the Royal Danish Theatre – with nature as the backdrop and RebildPorten as the local event partner.

The Royal Danish Summer Ballet
It has been a great pleasure for us to host the Royal Danish Summer Ballet in Rebild Bakker on several occasions. The Summer Ballet is a nationwide tour where ballet is performed outdoors in unique and scenic surroundings.
Since the Royal Danish Summer Ballet’s first tour in 2006, Rebild Bakker has provided the setting for several performances. So far, seven performances have taken place in the hills – in the years when the event was planned in Rebild and when neither rainy weather nor COVID-19 prevented it from going ahead.

Evaluation
Our event work in Rebild is based on outdoor events, where the nature of Rebild Bakker and Rold Skov provides the setting for unique experiences.
When organising the Summer Ballet, we always work closely with the Royal Danish Theatre as well as colleagues across several departments in Rebild Municipality. This helps ensure a beautiful and atmospheric performance in the heather-covered hills on a summer evening in June.
Would you like us to help with your event too? Contact us to learn more about how we can help.
