Rold Kildebæk

Rold Kildebæk is a small woodland spring in the southern part of Rold Forest. Its steep gradient and fast-flowing water give the stream a distinctive character reminiscent of a mountain brook.

The cool, fast-moving water creates favourable conditions for a varied range of species adapted to flowing water. Near the spring and along the upper part of the stream, the water runs through a carpet of fallen leaves, adding to the area’s special atmosphere.

A visit to Rold Kildebæk offers a beautiful and unusual nature experience. However, the stream can be slightly difficult to find, as it is not marked on the map of Rold Forest.

How to find Rold Kildebæk

From the roundabout in Rold, drive towards Haverslev. Continue for approximately 1 km until you reach the edge of Rold Forest.

A few metres after entering the forest, you will find a path on the right-hand side of the road. From here, continue on foot for approximately 300 metres to reach the stream.
