Veggerby Church
Veggerby Church stands on one of the highest points in the area and can be seen from far away. The church is believed to have been built around the year 1200 and has shaped the surrounding landscape for centuries.
At around 17 metres long, the church was relatively large by the standards of its time. The tower was added around 1400, and the church underwent several major changes, particularly during the Reformation.
Inside, you can see a baptismal bowl dating from around 1575 and a pulpit from approximately 1600. The historic furnishings are complemented by several more recent decorative elements, adding a modern touch to the church interior.
