Jamborettepladsen in Rold Forest

Jamborettepladsen is a large campsite in Rold Forest – ideal for scouts, schools and groups looking for simple overnight accommodation close to forest, lake and outdoor life.

The site is located north of Mossø and close to Store Økssø, where nature quickly becomes part of the experience. Here, there is plenty of space for community, activities and quiet moments under the open sky.

Campsite for groups

Jamborettepladsen can be used by up to 4 groups at a time. Each group must have a minimum of 15 participants, and stays can last up to 4 days.

At the site, you will find several water taps and a composting toilet. It is also possible to use the old log house, which can serve as a lunch shelter, storage space or shelter for 3–4 people.

Close to experiences in Rold Forest

With its location in Rold Forest, Jamborettepladsen is a good starting point for walks, nature activities and experiences in the area around Lake Mossø and Store Økssø.

Here, your group gets a nature-based base with plenty of room for both practical activities and time together.

Practical information

Jamborettepladsen must be booked in advance and requires an application. Access to the site is from Turistvejen, which leads down towards Store Økssø.

When you have a reservation, motor vehicle access to the site is permitted for loading and unloading. Afterwards, parking must take place in the designated area to the south when arriving at the grass area from Turistvejen.
