Hærvejen Cycling Route – Aalborg to Rebild

Experience Hærvejen by bike from Aalborg to Rebild. This 33 km stage takes you from the city’s green parks, historic districts and waterfront by the Limfjord to open landscapes, Rold Skov and Rebild Bakker.

The route starts in Aalborg, where you can enjoy the city’s architecture, cultural heritage and lively waterfront before cycling south out of the city. Along the way, you pass through fields and meadows and cross Lindenborg Å, before the landscape gradually becomes more hilly and wooded.

As you approach Rebild, the route leads through the northern part of Rold Skov and onwards towards Rebild Bakker. Here you will experience one of North Jutland’s best-known natural areas, with heather-covered hills, forest trails and beautiful views. The stage ends at RebildPorten, an ideal place to stop for information, inspiration and a break after the ride.
