Culture and Community House Kig Ind

The Culture and Community House Kig Ind is located in a former furniture shop and today serves as a local meeting place for culture, community life and associations.

The house is run as a self-governing institution and offers room hire for associations, institutions and private individuals. It provides space for creative activities, meetings, courses and events.

Activities and rooms

Kig Ind offers good facilities for a wide range of cultural, creative and social activities. The house is used for activities such as art, theatre, music, singing, dance, revue, gymnastics, lectures, film, café activities, local history, billiards, table tennis and other games.

Since August 2012, the house has also had several rooms on the first floor. These are used by creative clubs and workshops, including art classes, knitting clubs, scrapbooking, lace-making and painting workshops. The bridge club also uses the rooms for its weekly game evenings.

The rooms can also be rented for meetings, courses and other events.
