Shelters by Store Økssø

Stay close to the forest and Store Økssø at this simple shelter site near Mosskov. The site has 10 shelters, each with room for approximately 4 people.

Shelters 1, 2 and 3 can be booked in advance via this link. The remaining shelters cannot be reserved and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The site is within short walking distance of MosskovPavillonen, where toilets are available. Store Økssø is just over 200 metres away, and swimming is possible here.

There are fire pits at the site, but no firewood supply. Please bring your own charcoal or firewood if you wish to cook over a fire.

Directions

Drive from Skørping towards Hadsund/Astrup. Approximately 2.5 km south of Skørping, turn right towards Store Økssø. When you reach the car park, you will see the shelters on the right-hand side, just inside the edge of the forest.

Book shelters 1, 2 or 3 in advance. The other shelters are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
