Orienteering in Rold Skov Forest

In Rold Skov, a number of fixed control points for orienteering have been established.

Finding the post are a fun activity for both families and exercisers, while you get to see beautiful areas of the forest. A map shows you the way to the control points, which are marked with easily recognizable poles.

You have to compare maps with the terrain constantly, so you will get your sense of direction tested.

The orienteering clubs have nature as a training ground and draw the very accurate orientation cards with clear paths. The control points are marked with a circle and associated numbers, and roads and paths that must be used are marked with black lines.

A tour with orientation maps can be an exciting and wonderful day in the forest with fresh air, brain gymnastics and good exercise.
