Lars Kjær’s House
At the foot of Rebild Bakker lies Lars Kjær’s House – a small thatched house rich in local history. This was once the home of the poacher Lars Kjær and his wife Marie, who was known as a fortune-teller.
A glimpse of life in the past
The house is furnished as it was when Lars and Marie lived there. It gives you an impression of simple everyday life in Rebild Bakker and tells the story of people who lived close to nature.
Today, Lars Kjær’s House is a closed museum, but you can still look in through the windows and sense the atmosphere of the small house.
