Vælderskovgården Campfire Shelter

Vælderskovgården Campfire Shelter is located in Vælderskoven, which is part of Rold Skov. It is a cosy starting point for a trip into the forest – close to both Troldeskoven and Skovtårnet, which is around 500 metres from the campfire site.

The shelter has tables, benches and a grill, making it a good place for a break with food cooked over the fire or a simple forest lunch. Please remember to bring your own firewood, food and any equipment you need.

There is no access to water or toilets at the shelter. Visitors must follow the Danish Forest Act, clean up after themselves and make sure that fires and embers are fully extinguished before leaving the area.

You will find Vælderskovgården Campfire Shelter east of Rold Storkro on the Rebild Bakker map, in the area by Troldeskoven, marked as point 7.

There are several parking options a few hundred metres from the shelter. Motor vehicles are not allowed on the forest paths leading to the shelter.
