Urskov Campfire Site

Urskov Campfire Site is located in Rold Skov, surrounded by beautiful and wild forest nature. The area has been designated as untouched forest, where trees are left to grow, age, fall and remain as a natural part of the woodland.

Here, you will find old beech trees of the type that came to Rold Skov in the Middle Ages. The oldest trees in the area are more than 300 years old, and the forest offers a special impression of nature’s own processes.

At Urskov Campfire Site, there is a grill and tree stumps that can be used as tables and seats. It is also possible to pitch a tent in the area.

Please remember to follow the Danish Forest Act, clean up after yourself and make sure the fire is completely extinguished before you leave the site.

Practical information

There is no access to water or toilets at the campfire site.

It is not possible to drive all the way to Urskov Campfire Site. The nearest car park is located approximately 200 metres south of Rold StorKro.
