Stubhuset is an independent institution and a cultural meeting place with strong local roots. Here, people come together for everything from music, lectures and exhibitions to dancing, meetings and private events – and the many activities help bring the house to life all year round.

Stubhuset is especially known for its atmospheric intimate concerts. The sound is excellent, the audience is close to the stage, and the closeness between musicians and guests creates special live experiences. This makes for happy audiences, satisfied musicians and the warm atmosphere for which the venue is known.

A growing audience finds its way to the house to experience concerts, exhibitions, lectures and many other events.

At weekends, Stubhuset often functions as a community hall. Members have the opportunity to rent the premises for private parties and events – so if the flag is raised at the weekend, there is probably a good celebration taking place at Stubhuset.
