Join a atmospheric guided twilight and night hike in Rold Skov

On this hike, we quietly make our way from the town of Skørping into the tranquillity of the forest. The route takes us along forest paths past three lakes, each with its own special atmosphere as the daylight slowly fades and darkness takes over.

Along the way, I will share short stories about nature, and we will take time to experience the transition from the rhythm of everyday life to the stillness of the forest. If we are lucky, we may even spot a bat or two before they settle into hibernation for the winter.

Halfway through the hike, we will take a break with the option of shelter and enjoy our own packed meals by Store Økssø. As a little extra, I will bring something sweet as well as coffee and hot cocoa. Please remember to bring your own cup.

Meeting point: Car park at Skørping Idrætscenter, Himmerlandsvej 59, 9520 Skørping
Please note: The meeting point is 750 metres from Skørping Station, making it easy to travel to and from the hike by public transport. If you arrive by car, free parking is available at Skørping Idrætscenter.
Distance: 12 km on gently undulating forest paths
Duration: 3–3.5 hours
Who is the hike for: Ages 15 and up. Not suitable for people with walking difficulties.
What to bring: Clothing suitable for the weather, hiking shoes or boots, a packed meal, snacks and drinks. Bring your own cup if you would like coffee or hot cocoa.
