Free family walk around Gravlev Lake

Join an exciting walk in Rebild Bakker for children aged 5–10 accompanied by adults. We will find things in nature, hear local stories, taste spring water and learn how to take care of nature.

Description

Now you have the chance to become a nature hero and help look after the natural world. Bring an adult and join nature guide Marie-Louise Maarup from “Tid Til Tur” on a walk to Ravnkilde in Rebild Bakker.

On the walk, we follow in the footsteps of the poacher Lars Kjær, find interesting things in nature, talk about the animals that live in Rebild Bakker, hear about different types of springs and taste fresh spring water.

Date: Tuesday 13 October 2026, 10.00 am–12.00 noon
Meeting point: Hulvejen car park near Lars Kjærs Hus, Rebild, 9520 Skørping

Practical information

Distance: The walk is approx. 2 km.
We walk in gently hilly terrain, so please wear good shoes.

It is a good idea to dress in layers, so you can adjust your clothing along the way.

Important: Please bring an egg carton for an activity during the walk.

The walk is not suitable for prams or people with walking difficulties.

Please bring a packed lunch and a water bottle, as we will eat at Ravnkilde. You may also want to bring a sitting mat.
