Canoe trip on Lindenborg Å

The trip starts at Nybro, close to Rebild Bakker. This is where the canoes are delivered, and before departure you will receive a map and practical information about the route. Parking is available nearby, and we will be ready by the river to help you get started.

You paddle with the current, and there are good opportunities to take breaks along the way. The route takes you past several interesting places, including Lille Blåkilde, one of the largest springs in Northern Europe.

Choose your end point

You can choose between four different end points. Please consider in advance where you would like to finish your canoe trip:

• Vælderskoven – Klepholm
  Approx. 3-hour canoe trip
• Vælderskoven – Støvringvej/Volsted
  Approx. 3 hours and 15 minutes
• Vælderskoven – Håls Bro
  Approx. 5-hour canoe trip
• Vælderskoven – Lindenborg Gods
  Approx. 6-hour canoe trip

The canoes are delivered and collected for you, so all you need to do is arrive at the starting point. However, you are responsible for your own transport home from your chosen end point. We recommend placing a car at the end point before the trip begins.

Canoe rental prices

• 1 day:
  DKK 650 per canoe incl. paddles, life jackets and collection for trips of up to 21 km.
• 2 days:
  DKK 1,300 per canoe – no matter how far you paddle.

Canoe and food

Would you like to avoid packing your own lunch? When booking your canoe trip, you can add food to your order, which will be delivered together with the canoe.

Rebild Kanoudlejning works with Restaurant Rebildhus to provide food for canoe trips.

Combine canoeing and cycling

Make it a full-day experience with both canoeing and cycling. You can paddle out and cycle back, and we can transport your bikes to the end point while you are on the river.

Bike transport costs DKK 200 per bike.

A combination package is also available, including canoe rental, mountain bike rental and food on board for DKK 800 per person.
